ERA FILM is an independent production company based in Vilnius (Lithuania) which was established in 2001 by producer Rasa Miskinyte. ERA FILM mainly produces creative documentaries at the international level for international audience. ERA FILM entered feature film area with Sharunas Bartas’ project "Fling a stone, David!" and a Sergei Loznitsa's full-length feature film "Im Nebel".

ERA FILM is interested in strong stories with international appeal based on common human values. ERA FILM has a special interest for culture and history issues. ERA FILM also specializes in line producing and consulting for film professionals from Lithuania and other countries all around the world  on international co-production and project development issues.

ERA FILM goals are:

• to raise and improve the quality of film production in Lithuania;
• to develop and continue international co-production;
• to introduce digital film production workflow.

Besides its regular team the company recruits film production professionals in order to successfully accomplish all stages of film making process.

ERA FILM director Rasa Miskinyte (CV) is a professional producer, who has a lot of experience in documentary producing in cooperation with Lithuanian and international companies. Rasa Miskinyte received a Silver Crane award in 2009 for her creative documentary “Vabzdžių dresuotojas” (The Bug Trainer) as the best Lithuanian producer.
